THE VISION
With young kids and a living room full of toys, this family wanted storage that didn't look like storage. Dwell & Oak (D&O) designed the solution and brought it to the client for approval: four wide base cabinets with two doors apiece, a 15-foot countertop, and three floating shelves finished to match — turning clutter into a clean, styled wall for family photos.
BRINGING IT TO LIFE
Working from D&O's elevation and section drawings, we selected stains and finishes with the designer and sent samples to the client for approval. Once approved, we installed the cabinetry and shelving to D&O's plans — gluing up, staining, and finishing the massive 15-foot countertop in an adjacent room of the client's home for a seamless, one-piece look.
