THE VISION
After buying their home and taking on a full gut renovation, this NYC family reached out to us directly. We visited the townhouse mid-renovation to walk the semi-finished space and talk through how they wanted to use it: a den that could anchor the room with book storage while concealing the home's electrical panel.
BRINGING IT TO LIFE
Once the client approved our design, we built a coordinated run of bookcases and a floor-to-ceiling cabinet box with inset doors to conceal the electrical panel — framing it on-site from studs and insulation, then spraying it in place while the bookcase boxes were finished in the shop. The client later brought us back to spray-paint the adjacent masonry and HVAC components in the same finish, for one fully immersive room.
