THE VISION
This family's book collection had outgrown every shelf in the house, and they love to host — they wanted their dining room's built-ins to bring new warmth to the space. After talking with the client, we sketched an initial layout inspired by an open-front wine cellar wall, then partnered with Studio Titus Designs to refine it.
BRINGING IT TO LIFE
Working with Studio Titus Designs, we settled on surface thicknesses and worked around the room's windows and pocket doors. Studio Titus Designs also drove the finishing direction — a bleached, matte white oak — which we built and checked in on periodically to confirm the look and feel held true. The result: wall-to-wall, solid white oak bookcases spanning the room floor to ceiling, so every book — and every guest — has a place.
